2.7 V to 5.5 V RGB-to-NTSC/PAL Encoder with Load Detect and Input Termination Switch
Analog Devices Inc.
Description
The AD723 is a 2.7V-5V RGB-to-NTSC/PAL Video Encoder with load detection and input termination capability, packaged in a 28-lead TSSOP. This device converts analog (RGB) Red, Green, and Blue color...
Features
Current Mode Output Drivers: To deliver a full swing video signal from a supply voltage down as low as 2.7V. Load Check/TV presence Detection: Self-power down of unused outputs (either composite video or S video) reduces total power consumption. TV presence reported for plug-and-play capability. Triple RGB Input Termination Switch: Addresses application issues arising from varying load conditions without the need for external buffer or degradation of RGB monitor's input signal. DC coupled outputs: Eliminates large and costly output capacitors (typ. 220uF) and enables the load check feature.
