What is intellectual property?
| The Compact Oxford English Dictionary describes it as "intangible property that is the result of creativity, e.g. patents or copyrights." The Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary says it is someone's idea, invention, creation, etc., which can be protected by law from being copied by someone else. |
