Mobile WiMAX enables IP convergence

WiMAX deployment is emerging as the preferred choice of providers of IP convergence services. It has a clear advantage over 3G in terms of cost of building the network. Compressing technologies like ROHC enables the adoption of IP convergence, optimising the scarce bandwidth usage.
