Retrofit serial device with wireless connectivity

Taipei, Taiwan – May 2018 — Artila Electronics, which specializes in the development and manufacture of Linux-ready ARM embedded industrial computers, launches the brand new FreeRTOS based serial to wireless LAN module. SW-200M supports 2.4GHz, IEEE 802.11b/g/n WiFi and UART interface which is designed to connect serial device to Intranet/Internet. This module provides serial to embedded wireless solution with 40x45mm compact PCB size, and ultralow power consumption features.

Artila SW-200M

SW-200M Serial-to-Wifi module supports serial, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM and GPIOs interfaces, it integrates 32-bit ARM Cortex M3 processor with 2MB Flash memory, 2.5MB Data memory, SSL hardware accelerator, 802.11b/b/g compatible WLAN MAC/Baseband/RF into a compact module.
Featuring secured and self-supporting WiFi system, SW-200M is easy by using WPS (WiFi Protected Setup), web browser, smartphone APP and window manager utility.

The SW-200M comes with TCP/IP protocol suite running on-chip therefore it can serve as a network coprocessor to offload TCP/IP and WLAN protocol processing loading from the system MCU in an embedded system. It is perfect for TCP/IP socket level applications such as TCP server & client control for remote appliance sensors, or wireless cable, web server and other remote I/O applications.
It received certification from the regulatory agency in U.S., Canada, Europe, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Australia/New Zealand
