SDR platform supports any wireless standard

You can program the low-cost platform to support any wireless standard, from Wi-Fi, ZigBee and Bluetooth to cellular standards.
Successfully funded on Crowd Supply, LimeSDR is a low cost application-enabled software defined radio (SDR) platform that can be programmed to support virtually any type of wireless standard, from Wi-Fi, ZigBee and Bluetooth through to cellular standards such as UMTS, LTE and GSM and to the emerging IoT communication protocols such as LoRa.
Lime Micro has announced a manufacturing partnership for the LimeSDR product line with Taiwan's Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, a provider of semiconductor packaging and testing services. As part of the agreement, all the LimeSDR boards pledged during the recent successful crowdfunding campaign and any boards bought up before the end of September 2016, will have a customised ‘I backed LimeSDR on Crowd Supply’ logo on the recently released LMS7002M Lime chip.
“We have been collaborating with Lime Micro on packaging and testing their innovative Field Programmable RF ICs over the past few years, and we see the success of the recent crowd campaign as an important step in democratising wireless innovation,” said Jerry Chang, President of Sales, North America & Europe, ASE Group.
The limited edition ‘I backed LimeSDR on Crowd Supply’ boards can be purchased through Crowd Supply up to September 30. Individual LimeSDR boards cost ₹19,379.07 ($289). Large 100-unit operator ‘bundles’ are also available through the campaign page as is a recently launched certification program.
