Toshiba's Storage & Device Solutions Co., together with Northwest Logic, has brought to market its PCI Express and DDR3 SDRAM IP subsystems. These subsystems are offered on custom LSI platforms such as including ASIC and FFSA.

The PCI Express cores include standard-compliant, full-featured PCI Express 3.0/2.1/1.1 cores and high-performance, scatter-gather DMA cores and drivers (Linux & Windows), noted the company. The DDR3 SDRAM controller core promises high-bandwidth support with a full set of optional add-on cores that include ARM AMBA AXI, multi-port, reordering, ECC and memory test support.

Toshiba leverages comprehensive expertise from design to manufacture to offer a range of custom LSI solutions. FFSA is an innovative, flexible custom LSI solution with pre-designed masters featuring configurable I/Os, SerDes, SRAMs and logic devices that can be configured according to customer requirements.

Going forward, Toshiba will continue to provide solutions that help customers to optimise their system design and achieve timely product development, the company indicated.
