Designing 5G wireless systems is a huge undertaking. Especially high-speed PCB simulation and RF system in 5G are key to improve the capacity and data rates for wireless applications. High-speed PCB, for instance, requires PCB layout to be designed carefully to optimize the signal integrity and ensure targeted specification. ANSYS tools are ideal for designing and simulating PCBs, trace to trace coupling and environmental effects on signal propagation. In this session, the solution of high-speed PCB design will be given, and this talk also extends some solution about multi-physics analysis in high-speed PCB application.

CYBERNET_Expert1 • Min-Chi Chang-Ph.D, High Frequency Application Engineer
Min-Chi Chang received his M.S. and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering of National Chi Nan University, Taiwan. In the M.S. and Ph.D. periods, he began to use ANSYS HFSS combining with MATLAB to optimize antenna and array design. His research interests focus on antenna design, computational electromagnetics, and optimization techniques in electromagnetics. Since August 2017, he has become an antenna design engineer in the R&D Department of Masterwave Technology Co., Zhubei, Taiwan. The product design includes designing, fabricating, and testing for WiFi and LTE antennas for wireless products, as well as high-gain antenna arrays for 4G/5G communication systems and outdoor applications. The developed prototype includes dish, sector, horn, and panel outdoor antenna. In 2019, he joined CYBERNET as an application engineer for ANSYS high frequency product.
